Staffing agencies provide everything from general laborers to nurses. Some even staff doctors and engineers! Ergo, it should be no surprise that IT staffing agencies exist. Who or what can you hire on a temporary basis from an IT staffing agency? Actually, all of the following are typically available.

Computer Programmers

There are multiple computer languages in use in the world today. Some of them are more complex than others. That is why computer programmers still have a job and a place in the business market. Someone needs to program all of your company's work computers and translate one programming language into another in order to communicate with other companies and their computer systems. 

IT Security Experts

Nobody likes to think that their computer system has any "back doors" or means of letting in computer viruses, worms, Trojans, etc.. IT security experts are essentially well-trained computer hackers fighting the evil hackers. These pros will open up a single computer and search all the way through every file and every part of your system to see if someone is spying on you or copying data without your knowledge or permission. Then the security expert shuts down everything that the silent and illegal hackers are doing. Most of these experts typically work as consultants, but some of them also choose to work via a staffing agency for more steady income. 

IT Hardware/Software Debuggers

Not exactly an official employee title, but these folks help you keep your systems and your software bug- and glitch-free. You might want to hire one or two to install new hardware, new software, transition old program information into new software, and/or address bugs and glitches with a new or old system. 

Data Processors

Data processors enter data and organize it in a way that makes it easily accessible to others in the company. They create files of data that are pertinent to individual accounts and/or consumer profiles, too. If you have a ton of old paper files you want converted to digital format and Cloud storage, then you would ask an agency to find you a couple of data processors to help with this type of project.

Software Experts/Trainers

Some IT professionals are experts at this or that type of software. As such, they are really handy to have around. They can train all of your current employees and train new and incoming employees on how to use certain software programs (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Word, etc.).
